We at SEA believe that information and education empower carcinoid patients (and their families) to be responsible for their carcinoid treatment and their lives. Most of all, we strive to help carcinoid patients understand their disease, understand the treatments and KNOW that there is hope.

In addition to facilitated discussions concerning issues relating to every day issues of quality of life, this group provides presentations by physicians and ancillary medical personnel on subjects of direct concern for carcinoid patients, such as cardiac manifestations, pathology of carcinoid tumors, dietary issues and psycho/social issues.
