With the diagnosis of carcinoid we feel fear—fear of any cancer. Fear
of the unknown. Fear because we feel very alone. We at SEA want
everyone diagnosed with carcinoid to know that “YOU ARE NOT ALONE.”
There are others. Others with a similar reality to your own. Faces of
Carcinoid is our effort to help introduce those with carcinoid to each
other. We want you to get to know us, to get to know each other. You
are invited to help us apply faces to those living with carcinoid. We
all have a story. Share yours. By sharing our experiences, we encourage
support, help raise awareness and educate our surrounding communties. Many of our portrait photos were graciously photographed by Scott Lewis Photography. If you would like to be included in our Faces of Carcinoid slideshow you can send us a photo but we will also need you to send us a legal consent for us to post your photo online.
